Lady Gaga has suggested that she was brought to tears by the amount of melodies circling in her mind.

The singer took to Twitter on Sunday (September 14) to write a short post about how she is constantly creating new lines in her head.

However, it seems it all got too much for the US star as she lay in bed.

Gaga wrote: "I lay in bed, and hear the sounds of new melodies. Repeating over and over. Inspiration, a tear falls down, I taste it. Stomach turning."

The singer had previously written on Twitter that her hotel suite in Istanbul, Turkey came with a grand piano.

She said: "My suite in Istanbul is simply sensational. Incredible space, design, views and luxury. Look at this chocolate wheel, grand piano and flowers. I'll be writing some songs while I'm here!"

The 'Applause' icon is currently on her ARTPOP Ball world tour.
