Lady Gaga reveals rock album interest: 'Led Zeppelin was a huge inspiration for me'

'Born This Way' icon Lady Gaga just shot into the top of the U.S. albums chart with her jazz record 'Cheek To Cheek', but she has now revealed that she would also like to work on a collection of rock songs.

During a new Reddit Q&A, the superstar admitted that her love of all genres means that it's likely she will experiment with rock music in the future:

"I was in a classic rock cover band at the same time I was in jazz band in high school and doing jazz state competitions. We were called 'Mackin' Pulsifer'."

She continued: "I have a real passion for Robert Plant's vocals, Led Zeppelin was a huge inspiration for me." Gaga went onto add that she would love to branch out into different styles because she is just so passionate about every aspect of music: "I'm certain that side of my musicianship will seep through the pores of music in the future."
