Lady Gaga pleased with shout out on 'GIRLS'

The new season of Lena Dunham's 'GIRLS' premiered over the weekend and pop megastar Lady Gaga got a mention in the first episode.

The 'Born This Way' icon shared a tweet featuring the quote said in the episode and added a polite 'thank you' to the end of the message: "What do Judy Garland and Lady Gaga have in common?..they’re both bad bitches who don’t give a f**k what people think.” - thanku @girlsHBO!"

Gaga, meanwhile, recently teased stage outfits for her upcoming tour with jazz crooner Tony Bennett: "Sensational design for TONY GAGA Tour by @Brandonvmaxwell and wait Till u see the front! For now just a little tease!"

Writer and actress Lena Dunham admitted that she wants her close friend Taylor Swift to make a cameo on 'GIRLS' at some point in the near future: "Taylor's one of my best friends. If she ever wanted to come we would be overjoyed to have her! We have no official plans, but let's just say she's welcome any time! She's pretty busy taking over the planet right now."
