'Born This Way' icon Lady Gaga is gearing up to perform at the Oscars this coming weekend and has revealed that she has butterflies ahead of the event. 

The superstar took to her official Twitter page earlier today and confessed that she's feeling nervous about taking the stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on February 22: "Headed to #Oscars rehearsal! I've got goosebumps already. What an honour to perform for the world and such an immensely talented audience!"

Gaga, meanwhile, recently confirmed her engagement to 'Chicago Fire' actor Taylor Kinney and admitted that she can't wait to marry him. Her stunning ring boasts both hers and Kinney's initials, and speaking about the amazing piece of jewellery, she explained:

"My favourite part of my engagement ring, Taylor and Lorraine designed 'T [heart] S' in white diamonds on the band. He always called me by my birth name. Since our very first date. I'm such a happy bride-to-be! I can't stop smiling!!"
