Pop superstar Lady Gaga has just stunned fans by releasing a teaser for the upcoming fifth season of Ryan Murphy's 'American Horror Story'. 

In the short black and white clip, the 'Born This Way' sensation announces that the new series is called 'American Horror Story: Hotel' and she used a hashtag (#GagaAHS) to accompany the post, which hints at her involvement in it. 

The Hollywood Reporter suggests that Gaga will be a series regular when it premieres this coming October, but no further details have been confirmed as of yet. Ryan Murphy hasn't commented on Gaga's video directly, but he retweeted it to his own followers this afternoon. 

'American Horror Story: Hotel' follows the show's previous efforts, 'Murder House', 'Asylum', 'Coven', and the latest offering, 'Freak Show'. Sarah Paulson and Jessica Lange have both been regulars on the show so far.
