Lady Gaga is returning to 'American Horror Story: Hotel'

Lady Gaga has been officially invited back to appear in Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story: Hotel in October.

The series features different characters and locations, including a house with a murderous past, an insane asylum, witch coven, freak show, and a mysterious hotel.

Co-creator Murphy excitedly tweeted: "Lady Gaga is so brilliant in AHS Season 5 that yesterday I officially asked her to join Season 6. Say yes @ladygaga!"

The superstar replied yes to Murphy's official invite whilst doing an interview with Z100's Elvis Duran.

Gaga recently commented about fame and the isolation that follows:

"I haven't said this before, and I should have. I'd really, really like for artists and their managers and people in any industry to know the importance of caring for people that you work with, and keeping them in a good mental state."

Gaga who says that she loves working on the show and is happier than she's ever been, continued:

"The people that I work with really, really care that I feel as normal as possible - so that I can have a great time and just be a normal girl."

Gaga has received high praise from many of the actors and actresses on American Horror Story: Hotel and in August last year, threw a party for her co-stars in which she dyed the water in a swimming pool blood red.

The 'Born This Way' sensation also bought the cast of the show bathrobes to celebrate the end of that season's show.
