Lady Gaga's new song 'Perfect Illusion' has reached No.1 on the UK trending chart.

The singer unleashed the track on Friday (September 9).

It reached No.4 on Monday's (September 12) midweek update for the main singles chart.

As a result, 'Perfect Illusion' has shot to the top of the trending chart, which ranks week-on-week growth for tunes in the UK singles chart.

The track is the first song to be taken from Gaga's upcoming new album, which does not yet have a title or release date.
