"Perfect Illusion" sensation Lady Gaga has revealed that she supports Selena Gomez's choice to step away from her career in order to focus on her wellbeing because she knows how tough celebrity life truly is. 

During an interview with 103.5 KTU, she was asked her opinion on Selena Gomez's decision to take some time out of the spotlight to work on her mental health and confessed that it's a choice that should be applauded because fame is very difficult to navigate:

"I would say that fame is very isolating. [It] takes a moment for you to stabilise yourself, especially if you’re really in it for the music or for your craft, because it can be a distraction from all of those things."

Gaga added: "Suddenly, it’s about keeping up with your career. Or keeping up with number ones, or being on top."
