NFL continues to play down Gaga Super Bowl rumours

NFL has once again poured cold water over speculation linking Lady Gaga to next year's Super Bowl half-time slot.

The latest rumours were started this weekend by Us Weekly, who said a source confirmed to them that the US star will perform at the event in Houston on February 5.

However, NFL's communications senior vice president Natalie Ravitz took to Twitter to publicly play down the gossip.

She said: ".@usweekly ignored my on record response: we've had conversations w several fantastic artists about SB Halftime Show but no final decision."

NFL previously issued a statement to pour cold water over the speculation after Billboard suggested Gaga was in line to play the coveted slot.
