Gaga explains her approach to creativity

Following her debut runway appearance for fashion designer Thierry Mugler, Lady Gaga sat down with CNN to talk about her seamless transition into the creative industry.

She was accompanied by creative director Nicola Formichetti and answered a series of questions about both her role as a musician and as an artistic individual. The pop superstar explained how the theme of female empowerment that her new single promotes was carried over into the runway show:

"'Born This Way' is one of the most important songs that I've ever written and I was really honoured because not only did Nicola ask me to be the musical director of this show, but he insisted that 'Born This Way' close the show."

The reporter asked Gaga how she manages to make her eccentric brand of creativity marketable and was given a very logical answer:

"I think if you ever show a sign of insecurity it shows a weakness in your idea. Stop analyzing everything so much."

One thing the 'Poker Face' singer refused to talk about, however, was the recent John Galliano scandal and simply asserted:

"Let's skip that question, let's keep it positive!"
