Lady Gaga celebrated a day in her honour while visiting Taiwan yesterday, July 3. 

The 'Judas' hitmaker enjoyed a special ceremony in the region where she handed the keys to the city of Taichung during what was named Lady Gaga Day. Tweeting to her fans on July 3, the pop icon wrote:

"Taiwan rolled my hair + put my lipstick on, in the glass of her boudoir. Here GAGA means "love for all," showtime."

Following the ceremony, Gaga performed at a free concert for over 40,000 people in Taichung City and told the crowd:

"These gifts are so overwhelmingly thoughtful and generous. I will cherish them forever and always remember today."
