Pop superstar Lady Gaga was the big winner at the 2011 MTV EMAs this evening, November 6, as she took home an impressive 4 prizes. 

The 'Judas' hitmaker scooped the titles of Best Female Artist, Best Song and Best Video for her anthem 'Born This Way' and Biggest Fans, of which she said: "Oh my Little Monsters how I love you!! The award I wanted the most we won before the show! MTV's "Biggest Fans"!"

Gaga made a brief speech while accepting her trophy for Best Video and dedicated the win to her sister, Natali: "This one’s for my sister, she’s a fashion student. Go get it bitch.”

The ceremony, which was held at Belfast's Odyssey Arena and was hosted by Selena Gomez, also saw Bruno Mars pick up Best New Act. Meanwhile Katy Perry won Best Live Act, 30 Seconds To Mars scored the Best Alternative title and teen sensation Justin Bieber earned himself 2 gongs for Best Pop Act and Best Male.
