Lady Gaga honoured at GLAAD awards

Lady Gaga has picked up an award at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) awards.

She won the Outstanding Music Artist award for her album 'Born This Way' at the ceremony in Los Angeles.

Other winners on the night included Ricky Martin in the Spanish Language section and Dancing With The Stars in the Outstanding Reality Program category.

The official website for GLAAD say they have worked for 25 years with "news, entertainment and social media to bring culture-changing stories of LGBT people into millions of homes and workplaces every day."

As previously reported, Lady Gaga recently admitted that she is getting her "ass kicked" by rehearsals for her upcoming world tour, which is due to kick off in April.
