Lady Gaga has revealed her new Vogue magazine cover photo.

The global superstar teased fans last night (August 8) about the cover for the September issue of the magazine.

She kept to her word and posted the image of the cover online, which sees Gaga resplendent in an eye-catching purple dress.

The image is accompanied on the magazine by the tagline: "Think you know Lady Gaga? Think again."

The September issue of Vogue is a 916 page anniversary edition as the popular magazine celebrates 120 years of production.

As previously reported, Lady Gaga recently confirmed that her new album will be called 'ARTPOP', with the singer confirming that it should be released by spring 2013.
