Lady Gaga says 'PARTYNAUSEOUS' single release has been postponed: "I don't control dates"

Earlier this month, pop superstar Lady Gaga announced details of a new collaborative single that was due to be released in the first week of September, but she has now confirmed that it won't be.

'PARTYNAUSEOUS' is a duet that Gaga recorded with American hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar and it was meant to drop on September 6, much to the delight of Little Monsters around the globe, but in a Twitter post made this afternoon (August 23) the 'Born This Way' sensation explained that the schedule has changed:

"Im REALLY sorry to the fans. record w Kendrick won't be out on the 6TH i'm SO SORRY its not my album, i don't control dates. but stay tuned!"

She previously revealed that the song is about her relationship with the Indonesian city of Jakarta and deals with the theme of wanting to "make peace" with its people:

"I wrote "PARTYNAUSEOUS" about Jakarta, and my relationship with that country. Wishing I could "get high with the enemy" and make peace."
