Gaga becomes first Twitter user to hit 30 million followers

Modern pop icon Lady Gaga has become the first person to reach 30 million followers on social networking site Twitter.

As of today (October 5), the 'Marry The Night' superstar now has in excess of the incredible figure making her the first Twitter user to reach the impressive milestone.

Statistics show that her nearest rival is Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber, who currently has 28.6 million fans on the site, and 'Teenage Dream' beauty Katy Perry, who is a little behind him with 27.4 million.

Writing on her official page earlier today, Gaga slammed people for leaking personal photographs (shown below) of hers from several years ago although she linked her Little Monsters around the globe directly to the images now that they're in the public domain:

"old photos of me are surfacing it seems. Here I am exotic dancing for $$$. and here's another go-go night, i remember takin home 400 bucks feelin like a baller. UMM @ladystarlgihtny who the f*ck is leaking photos of our PartyJerusalem."
