Lady Gaga has followed in the footsteps of Justin Bieber after being filmed throwing up whilst performing.

The contents of Bieber's insides became something of an internet sensation recently after video footage emerged of the Canadian vomiting on-stage in the US.

Lady Gaga has now followed suit and threw up whilst performing in Barcelona, Spain on her Born This Way Ball tour.

She was playing the city on Saturday (October 6) when disaster struck during her song 'The Edge of Glory'.

Speaking about the incident on Twitter, Gaga said:

"Was praying nobody saw but actually its quite a good laugh if u need one! Check out Lady PukeGA doing Swan "Vomit" Lake."
