Lady Gaga and Prince are set to contribute to the soundtrack of the upcoming adaptation of The Great Gatsby.

Actress Adelaide Clemens, who plays Catherine Wilson in Baz Luhrmann’s big-screen version of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, let slip to Indiewire’s The Playlist about the star names who are writing music for the film:

"Some pretty huge artists have approached Baz and are writing songs for the film, and I don't think Warner Bros. are going to turn down Prince and Lady Gaga knocking down your door.

She then added: "I don't know if I'm allowed to say that."

It is not yet known whether Lady Gaga and Prince will be working together or separately on the soundtrack. But it will be the first time that the 'Born This Way' star has penned music specifically for a movie.
