Lady Gaga has taken to Twitter to show her appreciation of her fans.

The singer is releasing her new single 'Applause' on August 19 and new record 'ARTPOP' in November and it seems her listeners have been spreading the word in earnest.

The 'Born This Way' star praised her fans' "passion" ahead of the release of her new project, stating:

"Thank you monsters & street teams for initiating ARTPOP revolution. Your passion is beautiful & we love you. We can't wait to see you dance!"

The message came a day after Gaga seemingly teased the lyrics for her new single on Sunday (August 4). She said:

"I stand here waiting/for you to bang the gong/to crash the critic saying:/is it right or is it wrong? 8.19."
