Lady Gaga: "I'm ready to burn the floor"

Lady Gaga is ready to "burn the floor" now she is back to full health.

The eccentric singer cancelled a number of tour dates earlier this year after undergoing surgery for a broken hip.

Gaga is due to unleash her third full album 'ARTPOP' on November 11 and she is kicking things off by releasing single 'Applause' on August 19.

The star is looking forward to breaking back into the charts.

Taking to Twitter today she wrote: "Off to rehearsal with my no longer broken hip, ready to burn the floor it feels so good to dance again ! (sic)."

Gaga recently explained the full extent of her injury.

She revealed: "I had broken my hip. Nobody knew, and I haven’t even told the fans yet. But when we got all the MRIs finished before I went to surgery there were giant craters, a hole in my hip the size of a quarter, and the cartilage was just hanging out the other side of my hip. I had a tear on the inside of my joint and a huge breakage.

She added: "The surgeon told me that if I had done another show I might have needed a full hip replacement. I would have been out at least a year, maybe longer."
