Lady Gaga has premiered the lyric video for her new single.

The flamboyant star unleashed new track 'Applause' ahead of schedule on Monday (August 12) after it leaked online.

It serves as the first cut to be taken from upcoming album 'ARTPOP', which is slated for a November 11 release.

The lyric video for the song has now been released, which was filmed at Los Angeles gay bar Micky's.

Some females wearing the 'Applause' single cover makeup can be seen, whilst Gaga also appears in person too.

Speaking on Twitter meanwhile about the full video for 'Applause', Gaga said: "A Very Pop Music Video for 'Applause' is premiering in 5 days this Monday morning on Good Morning America @GMA! #APPLAUSEVID819."
