Lady Gaga has opened up on her performance at this year's MTV VMAs.

The flamboyant star played her new single 'Applause' at the star-studded ceremony in Brooklyn last night (August 25).

Her show featured a number of costume changes as the singer paid tribute to her different styles from the past.

Gaga took to Twitter today (August 26) to give her two cents on her comeback performance, saying:

"That performance was so much fun I don't remember a thing! It felt so good to be on stage: there's no place like home *clicks ruby slippers*."

The 'Born This Way' star meanwhile is due to play the iTunes Festival in London on September 1.
