Lady Gaga thanks fans for 'glorious' night at the iTunes Festival

'Applause' superstar Lady Gaga performed at Camden's Roundhouse venue in London last night (September 1) to kick off this year's iTunes Festival and she revealed that it was a fantastic show.

The set marked her live return to music following her hip injury earlier this year and she took to her official Twitter page this evening to thank her Little Monsters for making it such a special occasion:

"Thank You so much London for the incredible time at Roundhouse! Seeing you in all your costumed and smiling glory made me so happy!"

Gaga then retweeted a message of praise from fellow female solo artist Adele, who was at the event, which read: "@ladygaga mermaids for life! Brilliant as always thank you for a wonderful night! #MANiCUREisthebest."

During the concert, which Gaga had dubbed 'SwineFest', she treated attendees to performances of 'Aura', 'Sex Dreams' and her new album's title track, 'ARTPOP'.
