Modern pop icon Lady Gaga has teased fans by telling them that the upcoming cover art for her new album 'ARTPOP' is her "favourite" out of all her releases. 

Writing on social networking site Twitter this afternoon (September 20), the 'Applause' sensation explained that it's due to be unveiled within the next fortnight although she can't confirm a date quite yet:

"The album cover is still being perfected and will come out sometime in the next two weeks! *im not allowed to tell you exactly when yet* I will say its my FAVORITE of all my album covers, and I am so excited to show you!"

She also spent some time earlier today answering questions sent in by her followers and confessed that 'ARTPOP' is "a psychedelic-pop journey, an album trip that represents my love of popmusic while exploding and pushing its 'artificial' limits."

Gaga then admitted that there's one track on the record that was really tough for her to write, adding: "1 song in particular became a confession of my weaknesses. It was hard to write."
