'Applause' megastar Lady Gaga has revealed that she's putting the finishing touches to her highly anticipated new album, 'ARTPOP', as the deadline approaches. 

The record is due to be officially released on November 11, but the beauty explained that she has to hand in the final cut in just under one week so is making sure it's up to her standard before it's sealed and delivered.

Writing on her Twitter page very early this morning (September 23), Gaga told her Little Monsters: "OK its exactly 6 days till I have to turn in ARTPOP. SONGS check SEASHELLS check MONSTERS check INHALER for album separation anxiety check."

Last week, she confessed that the cover art for 'ARTPOP' is her favourite from all of her releases to date and she can't wait to share it: "The album cover is still being perfected and will come out sometime in the next two weeks! *im not allowed to tell you exactly when yet* I will say its my FAVORITE of all my album covers, and I am so excited to show you!"

Gaga also recently shared a snapshot of herself working away in the studio (pictured below), which she accompanied with the caption: "Studio time! The live birth of *Venus*!!"
