Lady Gaga has dismissed speculation that she will duet with Rihanna.

Talk of the blockbuster collaboration had been mooted, but the 'Applause' lady shot down the rumour whilst appearing on US radio station KIIS-FM.

When asked by a fan if the news was true, Gaga said: "Well, no, that's not true. But, I mean, it's a rumour, I guess. It's a good rumour. I like Rihanna, so, it's just not true."

She added: "Well, Rihanna is wonderful and I always like hanging out with her when I see her."

Lady Gaga meanwhile is putting the finishing touches to her forthcoming new album 'ARTPOP', which is unleashed on November 11.

It will include lead single 'Applause', which hit No.4 in the US and No.5 in the UK when it was released last month.
