Lady Gaga unveils 'ARTPOP' cover: 'It's such a piece of my heart'

Pop superstar Lady Gaga has finally unveiled the cover art for her highly anticipated new album, 'ARTPOP'.

Back in September, the 'Applause' beauty confessed that it is her favourite piece of cover art out of everything she has released to date. American artist Jeff Koons, who is known mostly for his kitsch depictions of ordinary objects, created the cover and she confirmed that they collaborated together to get the design exactly as she wanted:

"Please welcome Jeff Koons into our family + shower him with love for the the talents he has shared with us. A pure and genuine collaborator. I'm nervous&excited to share something that's such a piece of my heart. Something I cherish deeply. A real depiction of my mind through his."

Gaga then returned to the social networking site and confirmed to her Little Monsters that Koons has also turned her into a sculpture that will be on display at her November 10 'ARTPOP' release party:

"There is also a surprise! The center image of me is a new Jeff Koons sculpture to be exhibited nov.10 at the artRAVE ARTPOP's release party!"
