Lady Gaga "depressed" after completing 'ARTPOP'

Lady Gaga has admitted to feeling "depressed" after finishing work on her new album.

The singer has been busy with highly-stylised upcoming effort 'ARTPOP' for some time, with the record set to hit shelves from Monday (November 11).

However, the shift from the recording studio to the live circuit isn't one Gaga is too keen on, it seems.

She told O2: "I'm depressed after making this album. I feel empty and sad. I'm no longer the creator, I'm the performer."

Speaking about the record, Gaga said: "This is the reverse of Warhol, this is the reverse of the soup can, this is art imprinted onto pop culture."

The 'Applause' star meanwhile is due to perform at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball on December 8 at London's O2 Arena.

Tickets for the two-day event - which also sees the likes of Katy Perry and Jessie J perform - have now sold out.

It marks another return to the UK for Gaga, who performed at the opening night of this year's iTunes Festival in London on September 1.
