Lady Gaga's upcoming cameo on The Muppets has been previewed.

The singer has appeared in a teaser video for the forthcoming episode Lady Gaga & the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular.

The US star's appearance in the programme was confirmed in October by Kermit the Frog himself.

The preview clip, which was shown on TV show The View, sees Gaga channeling the Muppets for inspiration on how to create the best 'finale'.

She says the characters are the "most creative minds" that she knows, with the seemingly singer using Miss Piggy as her dress inspiration.

Gaga will duet with Kermit during the special episode, which will also feature drag queen RuPaul, actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Sir Elton John.

Speaking previously about her role in the Show, Gaga said: "I was so excited when ABC called me about doing a holiday special this year. I knew it just wouldn't be a complete night of laughter and memories without the Muppets! Can't wait to see the gang again and I hope Miss Piggy's still not mad about Kermit. We're just friends!"
