Songstress Lana Del Rey has unveiled the official teaser trailer for her upcoming new video.

'National Anthem' is set to be the next release from major label debut 'Born To Die' and earlier this evening (June 26) she posted a link to the preview of the video for the single on social networking site Twitter.

The clip features a cameo from rapper A$AP Rocky, who sits in a dark club admiring Del Rey's beauty while she is on stage holding a microphone. During an interview with Billboard.com back in April, A$AP Rocky revealed that he's a huge fan of Del Rey's:

"You didn't know about me being a huge Lana Del Rey fan? That's all I kept talking about all winter."

The 'Blue Jeans' hitmaker also unveiled another photograph to support the release of 'National Anthem' on June 24, in which she can be seen sitting in the back of a vintage car.

She recently performed at London's Hackney Weekend and made a fantastic impression on the crowd.

Lana Del Rey suffers crippling stage fright that makes her "breathless"

Songstress Lana Del Rey has admitted that despite having shot to levels of international fame over the past year she still struggles with her nerves when performing live.

Talking to BBC Radio 1, the 'Blue Jeans' beauty explained that she becomes so anxious the moment she steps out on stage that she finds it difficult to even breathe properly:

"For some reason whenever I start each set I feel really nervous, so I'm completely breathless for my first song and a half, which is always interesting."

The star was in London over the weekend as she performed at the Lovebox festival and added that she has a special place in her heart for the UK because of the incredible support she has received in the country:

"I feel better [in the UK], I like that people have good taste and they show it. I personally just feel supported musically, and other than that I guess the best thing is people are so funny, just straight off the bat, so funny right away."

"I was in California, writing the rest of the record, and someone said that 'Video Games' was being played in London, and after that happened everything started to happen - I got my first and second record deal straight after that, the best thing is that I got to make all my videos and I finished the record, and all of it is sonically beautiful."

Sultry singer Lana Del Rey has treated her Twitter followers to an exclusive look at her new single's official artwork.

The star is set to release 'National Anthem' on July 8 and tweeted a link to a stunning black and white photograph that will act as the cover for the package.

The monochrome picture shows Del Rey stood on a stage next to a speaker's podium and a strip of text that reads "tell me I'm your national anthem" covers her eyes.

Her major label debut album, 'Born To Die', is currently at No.19 on the UK Top 40 and British model Kelly Brook recently described the 'Blue Jeans' hitmaker has her "fashion crush":

"I like looking at their style and make-up. Lana Del Rey is my fashion crush right now, but I don't get body envy"

"I wouldn't want a figure like Alexa Chung's, because I wouldn't be able to dress like me. But it's important to celebrate a range of sizes – some girls are naturally skinny, others are bigger."

Lana Del Rey reveals she's started writing new album

Lana Del Rey has revealed that she’s already started working on the follow-up to major label debut, ‘Born To Die.’

The 25-year-old, who this week debuted the video for album track ‘Carmen,’ told Spanish magazine S Moda that she will avoid writing songs about fame when asked the new record:

“No, I will take up where I left everything. I'm starting to write new tunes. I have a new song that I love.[Sings a few lines: "In the land of the gods and the angels, I was a monster."] When I thought, 'God, it reminds me of Leonard Cohen!’”

The ‘Video Games’ star, who is set to appear on The Voice UK results show tonight, also discussed her frustrations at being accused as manufactured by the music press:

“All they had to do, these journalists, was talk to some of my acquaintances. Anyone would say that everything I did, I did it alone. I wrote the songs, I edited the videos.

“I don't know, there is no one more authentic than me. It is understandable to question someone who says that he writes his songs but he doesn't, or someone who says his past was a certain way and lies. But not me.”

Speaking to the NME, Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno explained that the band were touched because they covered her single 'Video Games' a while back and her rendition of 'Goodbye Kiss' was "f**king beautiful":

"I'm really proud. Obviously we covered one of hers, 'Video Games', so it was quite a sweet thing to do back. It's a really nice gesture. It's proper old school."

During her Radio 1 interview, the 'Video Games' star explained that all of her ex-boyfriends had loved Kasabian and the guys had been kind enough to perform a version of her debut single so it was an easy choice.

She also unveiled a dark new music video yesterday (April 22) for 'Carmen'.

Enigmatic songstress Lana Del Rey has delighted her fans around the world after she unveiled the video for her album track, 'Carmen'.

The singer took to social networking site Twitter late last night (April 21) and teased: "CARMEN. Explains everything. I made you something."

Following the message, Del Rey uploaded a video for the cut and thanked her collaborators for helping put it together:

"Thank you to all of the beautiful filmmakers that helped make this video."

The song itself examines the story of a 17-year-old street walker battling addiction and some of the lyrics are hard-hitting in terms of content:

"She says you don't wanna be like me, don't wanna see all the things I've seen. I'm dying, I'm dying."

Visually, 'Carmen' is similar to 'Video Games' in that it's comprised of clips edited together although it has a darker nature and shows footage of a pole dancer, Del Rey herself with a love interest and several shots of scientific images (pictured above) related to drug use.

British songwriter Justin Parker, who co-wrote the song with Del Rey, has been nominated for a prestigious Ivor Novello award for his work on 'Video Games' and he explained that it was a tough cut to get noticed:

"No one liked it. We thought it was really special but they didn't think it was a single... I wrote the chord sequence for the verse at home in Lincoln and thought, 'That sounds like a Lana song to me.'"

"She was amazing, she followed every chord. She wrote the lyrics and it was all written in three hours. There's a melancholic side to her and we've both had dark times so it was a natural progression for the song to feel that way."

Del Rey created a video for the track, which she uploaded to the internet and Parker added that the success of it meant the bosses had no choice but to release it as a single:

"It just took off. Then they had to release it then, they had no choice."

Directed by Yoann Lemoine, the artistic black and white promo sees the 25-year-old lounging by a palm-tree surrounded pool wearing a white one-piece bathing suit.

After stepping into the pool, she then cavorts with heavily tattooed New York model Bradley Soileau, who also appeared in the video for 'Born To Die,' before being pulled under the water in the closing scene.

The sultry trip-hop track is the third release from Del Rey’s major-label debut album, 'Born To Die,' which reached number one in the UK and number two in the US, and was also included as the B-side to her first hit, 'Video Games.'
