Lana Del Rey reveals 'Ultraviolence' release date

'West Coast' beauty Lana Del Rey has finally revealed the official release date of her forthcoming new album, 'Ultraviolence'.

She confirmed the date via her Twitter page earlier this afternoon (May 14) and wrote: "ULTRAVIOLENCE. JUNE 16 2014." Earlier this month, she unveiled the record's artwork and also shared the tracklisting, which can be seen below.

The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach has been producing the album and he recently told Rolling Stone magazine that she's incredibly talented and has a really strong vision for the music she wants to be putting out:

"She's a true eccentric, and, you know, extremely talented. She has a definite vision of what she is and what she wants to be, musically and visually, which is cool. [Drummer Patrick Carney] and I have always just been, like, ‘You can take our photo, I guess,’ but she just like looks at this whole thing as this big art project that she gets to do, which is great."
