Lana Del Rey has confirmed the identity of her next single.

The singer will release 'Ultraviolence' on August 18 as the latest track from her 2014 album of the same name.

It will follow previous efforts such as 'West Coast' and 'Shades of Cool'.

The album meanwhile hit No.1 in a slew of countries across the world when it was released, including the UK, Australia and Spain.

Del Rey meanwhile recently opened up on what gives her confidence, saying:

"Obviously, it’s impossible to write a record if you don’t feel really sensual about it and confident. And I think for me, what makes me confident changes every day… but generally I would say confidence for me just comes from being really happy and that could be anything down to my environment or being lucky enough to have my muse with me, [or hearing] a really amazing melody for the first time."
