Lana Del Rey confirms seven new songs to feature on album re-release

Lana Del Rey has confirmed that she will be unleashing a re-release of her debut album 'Born To Die' later this year.

The album will be augmented with seven new songs in what she calls the "Paradise" edition of 'Born To Die'.

Del Rey told NovaFM that the re-release isn't a new album, but more of an "afterthought".

She said that the material will be available in November, a number of months after the album initially came out in January this year. Del Rey said:

"It's not a new album, it's more like an afterthought. It's the Paradise edition of Born To Die. It's like seven new songs that kind of put a period on the statement that I was making when I was making the record...it's beautiful."
