'Young and Beautiful' songstress Lana Del Rey has revealed that she was disheartened to discover that some of her new unreleased material had been leaked to the public recently.

She has been working on a follow up to 2011's 'Born To Die', but told Radio.com that having her new music, such as her song 'Black Beauty', illegally shared online is incredibly discouraging as it makes a mockery of the writing and recording process:

"I was [working on new material] until my record got leaked last week, because my life is like completely invaded. But yeah, I'm writing songs that I really like right now. I do feel discouraged. I don't really know what to put on the record. But I guess I could just put the [leaked songs] on and see what happens."

The beauty added that it's important to experience life in order to write honest songs so she isn't rushing her new album: "Each time I write... I'll never write a song if I don't think it's going to be perfect for the record. That's the way I do it, which means I don't write all the time. My muse is really fleeting. Sometimes it's six months. I don't really push it. Because you have to do things to write about. You have to go get into to trouble to write about it."

"It's too bad because it's been such a long time since the last record. I really feel like I need six months to live again, time to be normal or abnormal. I don't have anyone writing anything for me. It's such an internal well and if it's not full, it's just not full."
