Robbie Boyd is back with an empowering love song for everyone - new single Hey Girl’ is taken from his stunning second album ‘Break The Chain’ (May 2017) – bursting with soulful, heartfelt songs that showcases Robbie at his finest. It's an instantly loveable and catchy pop song, free from any pretence and full of joy. Following the success of his debut album ‘So Called Man’, ‘Break The Chain’ is an exploration of love, self-discovery and relationships and is Robbie’s most raw and real collection of songs to date. 

Robbie has performed his songs live on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ twice, been regularly aired on BBC Radio 2 by the likes of Graham Norton, Paul O’Grady and Jeremy Vine, and is currently on a World Tour, in Australia, having recently completed his fifth European tour, and having previously toured AmericaArgentina, Japan and Scandinavia. He’s supported artists like The Kooks, McFly, Jack GarrattMark Ronson, Jack Savoretti and Daughter. He’s even had Suggs open up for him! Robbie’s co-written with the legendary Ray Davies, and written and recorded with some of Nashville’s finest. He’s also been aired on BBC 6 Music, Absolute Radio and Radio X. Robbie’s toured the UK several times with sold out headline London shows at venues like Bush Hall, The Garage and the Jazz Café. He’s performed at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, and was the first Brit to ever perform on the roof of the O2 Arena. Robbie and his band have played at the Isle of Wight Festival, BestivalSomersault, WildernessGreat Escape and Standon Calling to name a few.

‘Break The Chain’ draws on Robbie’s broad range of musical influences, and features 11 beautifully crafted songs, decorated with gorgeous melodies and thought-provoking lyrics, reminiscent of Van Morrison, John Mayer and Bombay Bicycle Club. The tight harmonies and instantly memorable tunes, demonstrate Robbie’s refreshingly bright outlook, combining his smooth vocals with his band’s powerful folk-driven groove. Once again Robbie delivers an eclectic mix of toe-tapping anthems, sensitive ballads, and his notorious sing-along refrains, all the while retaining his warmth and optimism, with a fresh sense of energy and playfulness thrown into the mix.

Robbie’s uplifting songs have captivated a worldwide audience and his success is a confirmation of the many hours he spent busking on the streets of London, Europe and America where he honed his craft, along with the hundreds of shows he’s played around the world, and the passion and purpose with which he works. Robbie’s talented band of like-minded minstrels, add to the festivities whenever they play live, filling each venue with good-time vibes.
