La Roux's self-titled debut album is currently outselling Michael Jackson's 'Number Ones' in the midweek charts.

The electropop duo, made up of singer Elly Jackson and producer Ben Langmaid, are currently on course to top the album countdown, despite a surge in Jackson sales since his death last week.

Meanwhile, La Roux's current chart-topping single 'Bullet Proof' is expected to be forced into second place by Jackson's 1988 hit 'Man In The Mirror', which starts the week with a marginal lead.
