Songstress Leona Lewis has become the female solo artist with the most Top 5 hits in UK chart history.

Her latest single, Christmas offering 'One More Sleep', climbed to No.3 on the UK Top 40 over the weekend and saw her grab this exciting record as a result of its placement. 

Speaking to The Official Charts Company about achieving the impressive feat, Lewis explained that her followers are to thanks: "The support from my fans has been tremendous. I could not do this without them!"

Earlier this month, the beauty told BANG Showbiz that she doesn't measure success in chart positions or record sales and instead prefers to look at her career in terms of personal enjoyment: 

"The thing is I see a lot of fans saying, 'You should have released this. You should've done this.' But everything has been me doing what I want to do. Success, obviously, to most people is if you get a number one, that's your success. For me, it's my own journey and I've released the songs I've released because it's what I'm feeling at the time and what I want to do."
