Liam Gallagher urges brother Noel to "leave those 1D kids alone"

Musician Liam Gallagher has urged his brother and former Oasis bandmate Noel Gallagher to stop picking on One Direction in interviews and talks with the press.

Shortly after Noel's Rolling Stone interview surfaced, in which he referred to former One Direction singer Zayn Malik as a "f**kin' idiot", Liam took to his official Twitter page and posted the following message: "I see Noel 'Katie Hopkins' Gallagher is talking out of his slack arse again, go and polish your SAXOPHONE."

Liam returned to the social media site last night (May 7) and tweeted: "Hey, NG leave those 1D kids alone. Just coz you have a SAXOPHONE on your new record and you think you're all Pink Floyd. Everybody knows your just another PRICK in the wall."

He also addressed the Oasis reunion rumours and tweeted: "RE: Oasis rumours, you know I don't bum the press... never had never will, you know where I am if you need me."

Producer Naughty Boy also criticised Noel Gallagher for unnecessarily laying into Zayn Malik and tweeted: "@NoelGallagherwill make up with his brother soon because they will need the money, let's stop talking about f***in idiots mate lol #oasis."
