Liam Gallagher says Oasis reunion will happen if "musical gods" say so

An Oasis reunion could take place in the future, according to Liam Gallagher.

The Britpop group split acrimoniously in 2009 after a heated fall-out, with the two Gallagher brothers starting separate bands.

Speaking to Digital Spy at the Glastonbury Festival, Liam Gallagher said that a reunion could happen in the near future if the stars align. He revealed:

"Without being f**king hippy, it'll happen when it'll happen. If the musical gods want it to happen."

He added: "If it does happen, we'll be match-fit."

Speaking about a venue for the possible reunion, the Beady Eye singer said: "Wherever it'll be, it will be big. But who's to say it should be big? Maybe it'll be small."

Beady Eye meanwhile, as expected, performed a 'secret' set at Glastonbury today (June 28) at 11am.
