The 'A Milli' superstar was rushed to hospital in March after blacking out and while he made a full recovery, he explained that this wasn't an isolated incident and he has suffered numerous seizures in his adult life.

Speaking recently to MTV News correspondent Sway, Weezy confessed that the episodes often come out of nowhere: "No warning, no nothing, I don't feel sick. I get headaches real bad. And the headaches? I didn't get no headaches or nothing."

"I told them the other day, 'Y'all can tell me right now that y'all was lying, like, 'You know what? We lyin' ain't nothin,' and I'd have to believe them because I don't know. I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital. I don't feel anything. I just hope it stops happening."

As previously reported, the US rapper was recently hospitalised after suffering a seizure, but he was later released.

Speaking to Power 106 FM, Wayne admitted that he has a long-running problem with epilepsy and has kept his previous seizures quiet from the public.

However, his latest outbreak saw him have three seizures in a row, with his heart rate dropping to near a fatal level. He said:

"The bad news is I'm an epileptic, I'm prone to seizures. Like, this isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures, y'all just never hear about them."

Wayne continued: "This time it got real bad 'cause I had three of them in a row and on the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30%. Basically, I could've died, so that is why it was so serious. But the reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself."

Amidst conflicting reports on Friday (March 15) after being hospitalised in Los Angeles, the hip hop star spoke out on his condition.

Taking to Twitter, the international rapper rubbished reports he was near-death, writing: "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love (sic)."

Representatives for the 30-year-old artist  confirmed he had suffered a seizure, but is now on the mend.

A Young Money publicist revealed to CNN: "We can confirm Lil Wayne did have a seizure and that he is recovering."

The rapper experienced seizure-like symptoms while aboard his private jet in October and was transported to a hospital where he was treated shortly after landing.

Lil Wayne confessed to receiving treatment after his health scare.

He said: "Please let them know that I have an air unit, but because of the sound, they don't want the air on, so it's super-hot in here. I don't want y'all to think I'm on nothing, man. I'm on seizure medicine, man, that's all."

Lil Wayne also revealed the strict health regime he has been instructed to follow by medical professionals.

He said: "They said I gotta drink four water bottles a day, that's what the doctors say. I just came from the doctor. I ain't drinking four water bottles, but everything's good."

Maine spoke to Rap-Up TV about the exciting news and explained that she has a 'great' talent: "Just expect greatness. She's Toya's (Wright) daughter, and Wayne's daughter, so that's a great combination. She's a star, just put it like that. A super, megastar."

Reginae Carter's past two Instagram posts were shared via her Twitter account and show a variety of gifts she received for Valentine's Day yesterday (February 14).

One photograph (shown below) shows a pair of eye-catching sneakers that was accompanied with the caption: "happy valentines day to meeee! how much I love my parents!"

The 'Super Bass' songstress joined the coveted reality show this season alongside Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and returning mentor Randy Jackson.

The series has been rocked by reports of a feud between its new female judges, with spats between Minaj and Carey shown at the audition stages of the new American Idol season.

Wayne has not yet tuned in to watch his friend Minaj on the show, but admits the star hasn't exactly sold it to him either.

He revealed: “Actually, I’ve never watched it. When I talk to her she’s always tells me, ‘You don’t wanna watch that, you’re not going to be into it."

The hip hop superstar added: “She knows me. … It’s kind of like a catfight where they be going back and forth type of thing, I’m not into all that."

Wayne admitted that although he isn't a fan of the TV talent show, he appreciates that it finds some impressive vocalists, adding: "The talent on that is pretty good I heard, though."

The rapper is no stranger to body art and is plastered with ink - but his latest tattoo has turned heads.

Wayne appears to have had the word 'Baked' inked onto his forehead, similar in style to the icon of skateboarding company Baker.

Speaking previously about skateboarding, Wayne said that you have to be "fully committed" to the cause and live skateboarding as a "lifestyle". He said:

"You have to be fully committed. In order to be fully committed, you have to live that lifestyle. What these young kids say right now, you have to be about that life. I guess I'm about that life. It's kinda of putting rap on the backburner, that's all. I think fans deserve some peace from me."

Earlier this month, a gunman opened fire at the elementary school, killing 20 children and six adults in one of the deadliest school shootings in US history.

Reflecting on his arrest for gun possession in 2007, Lil Wayne admits he regrets his actions.

Speaking on the 'Jim Rome on Showtime' this week, the star said: "Before I leave, I want to say you mentioned that in 2010, I was locked up for a weapon. If there was anything I could do in my life that I could ever change, it'd be that. Sandy Hook Elementary, my heart goes out to you."

Lil Wayne has previously gushed about the things he is proud of - including being father to his four offspring - Reginea, Dwayne III, Cameron Cater and Neal.

He smiled in a recent interview: "There's nothing better than that, period — being a father. I've done so many things... I don't get no joy like the joy I get being a father. Simple things like helping my daughter with her homework. Simple things like putting my sons to sleep."

It has also been confirmed that he will be accompanied on the tour, sponsored by Live Nation, by 'Party On Fifth Ave' rapper Mac Miller and 2 Chainz.

Weezy's forthcoming new studio album, entitled 'I Am Not Human Being 2', is expected to be released early next year and his new music video for 'No Worries' premiered recently.

Lil Wayne would prefer his charitable efforts to go unnoticed, but knows this isn't the case with his manager around.

He told MTV News: "To be totally honest with you, that's Cortez. If it was left up to me, then y'all still wouldn't know what I'm doin'."

Speaking out on why he thinks it has been such a success, Lil Wayne told MTV News:

"I think because it's not trendy and it's not what's the norm. People are tired of everything just being 'what's cool.' Everybody's wearing such and such, everybody's doing such and such, and I don't believe that's what Trukfit is. Trukfit is just a bunch of little characters on a shirt, a bunch of sayings and stuff."

Lil Wayne has explained the simple stages of creating his pieces, revealing:

"My designer sends [drafts] over to me in an email and I decline or approve, it's that simple. And the kids are enjoying it. And not only the kids, I have pro athletes hitting me up , sending me their addresses, like, 'I need a box of that sent to me every month' or 'I'mma wear that to my press conference' or 'I'm gonna wear that when I sign my deal' — so it's really moving."

The hip-hop superstar has four children - three sons and one daughter - Reginea, Dwayne III, Cameron Cater and Neal.

Lil Wayne then revealed how he'd expect himself to act on the day of his nuptials, laughing: "I'll probably run down the aisle. I'll probably slide into the preacher like it was home plate."

The superstar rapper recently revealed his plans to retire from the music industry.

He said: "I signed my contract at 11, I went platinum at 14. I'm 30 now. Thank God I haven't put out an album that hasn't went platinum. To just keep it goin' like that, I think not only am I being greedy, I'm fooling myself to think that it will continue to be that great."

The international superstar is currently working on his tenth studio offering I Am Not A Human Being II and will drop the fifth instalment of Tha Carter series after that.

When asked why he didn't just merge the two albums if they are so similar, the 30-year-old star replied: "Because I know y'all want me around for a little bit, and Carter V is my last album. Man, I've been rappin' since I was 8 years old. I'm 30 now, man. That's a long time, man."

Meanwhile, the controversial star has revealed the official release date of his upcoming album I Am Not A Human Being II, which will hit shelves February 19.

Earlier this week (October 25), the 'A Milli' hitmaker fell ill while travelling and his conditions forced his air vehicle to land in Texas before medical services arrived on the scene and transferred him to a local hospital.

A rep for the superstar has now told gossip site TMZ that Weezy was treated for a migraine and dehydration and added that "he is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love."

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne is gearing up for the release of his 10th solo album 'I Am Not a Human Being II', which is set for release in December, and recently admitted to MTV News that Kanye West features on the record in a big way:

"Yeah he got some music on there. It's crazy, actually I don't want to give too much up but he's got a big hand in the album, you'll see."

Back in June, it was reported that the pair had been involved in a nightclub bust-up following a clash between their respective entourages and Weezy recently spoke to MTV about the situation, which he described as ridiculous:

"Honestly, I laughed at them. I can't front, I just laughed at them... Like, it's funny to me. I thank God I ain't going through it though, I've already been through too much."

Earlier this month, the '6 Foot 7 Foot' star revealed that he planned to take some time out from music to focus on his other passions because he has been so lucky with what he's achieved with his rap career.
