Lil Wayne helps out a disabled New Jersey woman

Rapper Lil Wayne has used his charitable foundation to help a fan who wrote weekly letters to him during his prison sentence.

Ronda Austin wrote to the 'Lollipop' hit maker regularly whilst he was serving time in Rikers Island jail and told him all about her life, including her mother who is wheelchair bound.

The story compelled Weezy to provide Austin's mother, Evelyn, with a brand new motorized chair and Perez Hilton reports that Ronda said:

"I couldn't believe it. I never asked for nothing. I just told him all kinds of different things about me. I never even said I needed help."
