Lily Allen has praised Miley Cyrus's live show in glowing terms.

The singer checked out the US star's London gig on Tuesday (May 6) as she kicked off the European leg of her Bangerz tour.

It was a return to form for Cyrus, who spent much of April in hospital after suffering a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.

It seems Allen was impressed by the extravagant show, with the 'Sheezus' star taking to Twitter afterwards to say:

"That was basically the best thing I've ever seen #BangerzTour #MileyCyrus."

Allen meanwhile released her new album 'Sheezus' on Monday (May 5) in the UK.

It is her first since 2009's 'It's Not Me, It's You' and the record features tracks such as 'Hard Out Here' and 'Air Balloon'.
