Lily Allen has complimented her former enemy Cheryl Cole for her judging work on 'The X Factor'.

The pair had a war of words in 2007 and Allen was recently forced to deny allegations that she had insulted the Girls Aloud singer in a new interview.

Allen said, "You know, I've never been in the same room as Cheryl Cole, but if I was I'd go up to her and say 'Hi'.

"She's a lovely lady and she's very good on X Factor."
