Lily Allen inspired to write a book: 'I've been writing solidly for three hours'

"Smile" star Lily Allen has revealed that she was recently inspired to write a book after reading Nora Ephron's touching essay collection, "I Feel Bad About My Neck".

She took to her official Twitter page last night and told her followers that reading the book gave her a "Eureka moment" and she spent a few hours writing herself after putting it down:

"I read Nora Ephron's 'I feel bad about my neck' today. It inspired me to start writing a book, I've been writing solidly for 3hrs #eurekamoment."

Ephron, who created the movies "You've Got Mail", "Sleepless In Seattle", and "When Harry Met Sally", wrote "I Feel Bad About My Neck" about the trials and tribulations of being a woman. One well-known quote from the tome is: “Oh, how I regret not having worn a bikini for the entire year I was twenty-six. If anyone young is reading this, go, right this minute, put on a bikini, and don't take it off until you're thirty-four.”
