Jess Thristan has come a long way in just a few months.  Still just 18 years old, the Halifax based singer-songwriter has just achieved her first national radio play on BBC Radio 2, has been in the studio with a Grammy winning writer producer and has just released her EP ‘Side by Side’.

The EP features four touching and beautiful tracks that signal the start of a promising career.  Title track ‘Side by Side’ is a slice of classy folk pop which lets Jess’ voice shine alongside some mercifully raw production.  There is no auto tune or over polished production here and it is all the better for that.  ‘The Shield’ is a moving track that is full of heartfelt emotion that is destined to be a classic that Jess will be playing for a long time to come.

The EP entered the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart at number 8 where Jess sits between some exalted company, Jake Bugg and Ed Sheeran.
