Baron Goodlove Releases New Track 'Orpheus'

London singer/songwriter Baron Goodlove (real name Joe Nesbitt-Larking) has carved out such a unique and non-formulaic sound for himself you can just tell that his musical education was formed from an influence of a plethora of great, non-conforming, artists.  Jeff Buckley, Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac, Captain Beefheart, Frank Zappa, Billie Holiday and Django Reinhardt are just a few of the musical mavericks that have shaped the jazz/blues tinged sound of the Baron.  This boy hasn’t spent the last ten years dreaming of X-Factor fame and fortune!

‘Orpheus’ is an almost theatrical masterpiece.  The Baron’s wonderfully textured voice is like a soulful Tom Waits.  Full of emotion and passion his voice is addictive.  ‘Orpheus’ is an epic journey with calm moments of peace, brutally interrupted by powerful emotive vocals and soaring guitars.

Baron Goodlove has appeared on the same bill as George Ezra several times but for some, the Baron is a much more interesting proposition for those who like their music edgy, creative and quite frankly … dangerous.

‘Orpheus’ is the first taster of his forth coming EP and boy does it whet the appetite!  With the Baron’s taste for historical Victorian fashion, he will be cutting an impressive figure and making waves in a business that desperately needs an injection of creativity and talent.
