Every now and then you discover a voice which is so full of soul, passion and power that you are reminded how ultimately life-affirming a classic voice can be.

Alaska born Kelly Moneymaker was brought up with the tradition of great American vocals.  Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Raitt and Tina Turner (amongst others) are all influences that can be heard within the vocal style of Kelly Moneymaker.

In her early years Kelly was a member of platinum selling pop trio ‘Exposé’ (recently named as one of Billboard Magazine’s Top 10 girl groups of all time, but has now matured into a more grown up American roots artist.

Having shared the stage and collaborated with some of music’s greatest names (Todd Rundgren, Diana Ross, George Clinton, Keith Urban and Ringo Starr to name but a few), this year Kelly released her latest solo album ‘Stone”.

As it’s Christmas, Kelly thought she would record two Christmas Songs – a cover of ‘Jingle Bells’ and her own original ‘Home for the Holidays’.

Kelly’s version of ‘Jingle Bells’ is available for download and proceeds from sales will help raise funds for Polar Bears International & NRDC (research on maternal dens, body condition, environmental impact, etc).

Kelly’s other Christmas song is an original.  ‘Home for the Holidays’ encapsulates some of Kelly’s past Christmases and demonstrates her talent for creating a beautiful, never to be forgotten tune.
