Linkin Park reveal drummer Rob Bourdon injured back during album sessions

Linkin Park drummer Rob Bourdon was left with an injured back during recording sessions for their new album.

The band are due to release their latest effort 'The Hunting Party' on June 17, but it seems it was a strenuous time for Bourdon.

Mike Shinoda told Q magazine that his bandmate was left needing medical attention after prolonged sessions.

He said: "Rob was killing himself. He played 10 hours a day for seven days straight and blew his back. He had to see a chiropractor."
