Matt Cardle announces 'Unplugged' UK tour April & May 2013

Following a sold-out 23 date tour with his band earlier this year, Matt Cardle will hit the road in a different guise in 2013 – ‘unplugged’. Cardle will be performing acoustic versions of songs from his two Top 10 albums in some beautiful, more intimate venues, including London’s stunning Union Chapel. Matt Cardle tickets go on-sale 9am on Wednesday 12th December and are available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk

The follow-up to 2011’s platinum-selling debut ‘Letters’, Cardle’s new album ‘The Fire’ recently entered the UK albums chart at No.8, giving Cardle his second Top 10 album in a year. ‘The Fire’ also entered the Independent Albums Chart at No.1, an incredible start for newly formed label So What? Recordings. The label is part of Silva Screen Music Group, to whom Cardle licensed the album to for the world earlier this year.

‘The Fire’ was written and recorded in London, Toronto and Los Angeles, and mastered at Abbey Road Studios, with Cardle handling production duties and playing the majority of the instruments himself.

New single ‘Anyone Else’ released 31st December, watch the video here
