Taiwanese iconic rock band Mayday will be bringing their Nowhere World Tour to Europe with 1st stop in London’s O2 Arena on Thursday 19th September 2013. Tickets priced from £60 (subject to per-ticket charge plus order processing fee) go on sale at 9am on Friday 12th July from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk.   

Since their first public appearance 13 years ago, Mayday have released 8 studio albums, earning themselves a place in heart of Asian music fans all over the world. 

Winners of over 150 music awards – including MTV Japan best music video award, Buzz Asia best artiste - Greater China award, the record breaking 4 times winner of Taiwan Golden Melody Awards for Best Band, the Global Chinese Music Awards and the CCTV MTV Music Awards amongst others – Mayday have been recognised all over Asia as a “Sublime Band” for their explosive and highly energetic live performances and their contribution to music. 

With their memorable live shows, the band have played over 300 shows to over 10 million fans, including  performing 60 shows with more than 2 million fans attending their 2012 - 2013 world tour to date. Mayday were the first and only band to perform at the Beijing Bird’s Nest Olympic Stadium with a record breaking 200,000 tickets selling out in just 24 hours, together with an impressive 7 consecutive Taipei Arena shows and 4 consecutive Kaohsiung Olympic Stadium shows, leading to Asian media praising them as “Concert Kings” and UK press hailing them as the “Chinese Beatles”. 

The band released “Mayday: 3DNA” in 2011 – a 3D movie of their live show and the first of its kind to be released in Asia. The group look set to continue to push the boundaries of technology with the release of their second 3D movie “Mayday: Noah’s Ark 3D” (due for release September 2013) featuring advanced aerophotography and spidercam technology.
